POSTCARDS – THE OLD FASHIONED FORM OF COMMUNICATION

Postcards were first introduced in the late 1800's and quickly became a very poplar means of communication.  History itself can be tracked on postcards, from streets, scenes, historical buildings, famous people, art, and more.

Postcards are also a great way to enhance, and enlighten the family history. Besides being pictorial, they serve to document people in a specific time and place.

The Tata Central Archives has a collection of over 300 postcards which were sent or received by members of the Tata Family.
