Tata Central Archives houses a collection of 1,500 books dedicated to research and reference. These works span a wide range of themes including the history of the Tata group, archival practices, biographies of notable figures, and scientific subjects. Among the collection is Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata: A Chronicle of His Life by Frank Harris, alongside several acclaimed titles by Russi M. Lala. His bestsellers - The Creation of Wealth, The Heartbeat of a Trust, and Beyond the Last Blue Mountain, offer compelling narratives of the Tata legacy. These books highlight the group's pioneering role in shaping modern India, not only through industrial and entrepreneurial achievements but also through transformative contributions to factory reforms, labour welfare, medical research, higher education, arts and culture, and rural development.
