Esplanade House

Esplanade House was the Tata family residence in Bombay (Mumbai). It was built by Nusserwanji and Jamsetji Tata. The family moved into the house in 1887. It was one of the first residential buildings in the city to have electricity, concealed wiring and an elevator. Esplanade House currently belongs to the Trustees of the R.D. Sethna Scholarship Fund.

York House

York House is a historic stately mansion in Twickenham, U.K. Sir Ratan Tata purchased this mansion from the Duc d'Orleans in 1906, for £16,000. Sir Ratan and his wife Lady Navajbai Tata occupied York House from 1906-1924. Today it serves as the Town Hall of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
